The signer(s) of the document(s) personally appears before the Notary at the time of the notarization using audio-visual technology over the internet instead of being physically present in the same room. Remote online notarization can also be called webcam notarization, online notarization or virtual notarization.
This notarization is completely done online. Once the online notarization is complete, the document is ready for use. No portion of the document is completed outside of online notarization.
